Company Press Release

NEW DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE SEARCH FOR OIL & GAS DEPOSITS

DENVER, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Amalgamated Explorations, Inc. AXPL announces what may be a breakthrough in oil and gas exploration. Amalgamated intends to incorporate advanced digital technology into its patented Electrotelluric® hydrocarbon detection system. The enhanced system is expected to significantly improve the ability and accuracy to detect oil and gas down to 17,000 feet below the surface of the earth.

"Scientists have long known that natural, ultra-low electrical frequencies penetrate throughout the earth," said Christian F. Murer, President and geologist. "How these frequencies are modulated by oil and gas deposits are at the heart of the new technology." Field-testing of the digital scans is slated to begin this spring.

Mr. Murer stated, "With the advent of the new digital survey equipment, we are optimistic about increased service revenues for the Company this year." Mr. Murer attributes this positive outlook to increasing oil and gas prices together with a growing demand for hydrocarbon surveys. The Company will also consider licensing its new technology to industry partners worldwide.

Amalgamated Explorations, Inc. is a Denver-based oil, gas and mineral exploration company that has been granted an exclusive worldwide license through its wholly owned subsidiary, MSP Technologies, Inc., to a patented technology that was developed to accurately locate oil and gas deposits prior to drilling.

AXPL is filing its 10SB with the Securities & Exchange Commission to be reinstated to the Nasdaq Bulletin Board and can currently be found within the pink sheets. More information is available at www.findoil.com.
