The Madison Well 3-29 Cave Gulch field. Drilling to the Madison Formation at 21,000 feet. The rig cost is approximately $30,000 per day an estimated drilling cost of $10,000,000. Amalgamated holds a small interest in this well with operator Barrett Resources of Denver, Colorado.

The rig took 17 days to construct and started drilling near the end of September, 1997. The rig reaches 190 feet above the ground with the platform and offices on the forth floor.
