Christian F. "Ted" Murer is the Company's Founder, President, Chief Executive
Officer and Chairman of the Board. Mr. Murer has been an exploration geologist and
consultant for the past 36 years. Mr. Murer has operated as an independent contractor in
the oil and gas and mining exploration business and has experience in all phases of
natural resource exploration and development in the Western United States. He holds
interests in oil and gas, minerals, and geothermal resources in the western United States.
Mr. Murer is was involved in the discovery of the Cave Gulch area of Wyoming (a major
natural gas production area), and is also the developer of one of the largest uranium
deposits in Utah. In addition, Mr. Murer has also discovered oil deposits that are still
producing after 30 years.
George J.
Kirn, Vice President
Education: Graduate, Colorado School of
Mines, 1957.
Mr. Kirn has more than 36 years experience as an exploration and development geologist in
the oil, gas and minerals business. He has worked throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and
parts of the mid-continent including Texas, Alaska, and New Mexico. Mr. Kirn is
knowledgeable in land acquisition, claim staking, exploration and development in both the
oil and gas industry as well as the minerals industry. From 1960 to the present time, Mr.
Kirn has operated as an independent consulting geologist developing oil and gas
properties, subsurface geology, well-site supervision and assembling lease blocks. Mr.
Kirn has testified before the Oil and Gas Conservation Commissions in various states and
has served as an expert witness in arbitration hearings concerning oil and gas matters.
Ronald C. Turell
Education: Petroleum Engineer, University of Wyoming, 1968
Mr. Turell has over 30 years of experience including a wide variety of operations and
management assignments providing a broad background in all phases of the oil and gas
exploration and production business. Mr. Turell has significant experience and in-depth
knowledge with respect to exploration, lease assignments and filing, fee lease negotiation
and acquisition, drilling, AFE and budget estimates, drilling contracts, all drilling
logistics, perforating, workovers and completions.
Mr. Turell has worked for over 10 years with the major oil and gas companies in the
industry in the areas of exploration and development and approximately 20 years as an
independent consulting engineer.
Recent industry experience includes high angle/horizontal drilling including the newest
short radius technology with both domestic and international assignments. |
